One of the important issues with which DEXCEL has distinguished itself over the years is the conceptual development and application of the methodology Pachamama Raymi. It all started in Peru during the eighties, in a rural development program known as PRODERM, financed by Dutch Development Aid, the European Commission and the Peruvian government. The main intellectual author and promoter of the methodology was Willem van Immerzeel. He introduced and further developed the methodology in Bolivia, Guatemala and Chile, adding new elements, improving others, adjusting to specific local conditions.

Many now ask us about the origins and history of Pachamama Raymi. In this section, DEXCEL presents will tell you about it, documenting and illustrating it wherever possible.

The history of Pachamama Raymi presented here, isn’t complete. Maybe you have a missing piece? If you wish to contribute, please contact DEXCEL-International.
