Our team
Pachamama Raymi is above all a team of excellent farmers, capable and committed, permanently available to participants in our projects, to provide ongoing training and to pass on their experience.
At present our team of farmers consists of some 50 persons:
5 Coordinators
15 experts farmers
26 facilitators
Our administrative team has three persons, distributed among our offices in Cusco and Ica, Peru.

Willem H.M. van Immerzeel (President), Dutch, MSc in soil and water management from the University of Wageningen. He has worked in rural development since 1981, in different projects and countries, including Guinea Bissau, Bangladesh, Peru, Nicaragua, and others. He has worked as team leader, consultant, etc.
He designed and implemented the methodology Pachamama Raymi in PRODERM.
Mr. Van Immerzeel designed Pachamama Raymi in the late eighties and implemented this methodology in many projects in Latin America.
He is founding partner of DEXCEL-International and president of DEXCEL-Peru.

Huub van der Zel (Vice-President), Dutch, MSc in soil and water management from the University of Wageningen, with over 40 years of experience in projects of international cooperation, related with natural resources management, and rural development. He has known the methodology Pachamama Raymi, from its very beginnings, when it was first developed in PRODERM (a Dutch – European Union project, in Cusco Peru), during the late eighties. As co-director in different projects of the European Union, he applied Pachamama Raymi in Guatemala and Chile.

Barnaby E. Rooke (Treasurer), British, with a degree in Administration and MA in Development Economics from the University of London. Has worked in international cooperation since 2002. His main focus is coordination, specializing in monitoring and evaluation. In Mauritania as well as in Peru with the United Nations, he contributed to disaster prevention and emergency response. |

Antoine Briot (Secretary), French and Peruvian, Cameraman. After 13 years working in fictions, documentaries and advertizing, he moved to peru.
As part of his profession he had several opportunities to share time with farmers in South America and Africa, most of all in the area Paucartambo. |

Armando Moyonero (Member), Peruvian, MSc in land and water management from the University of La Molina (Lima-Peru). He intimately knows the methodology Pachamama Raymi from its very beginnings in PRODERM.
At present he works with the Ministry of Environment (Peru) developping environmental and social projects in the area of Camisea in La Convención - Cusco.
