 New competition for grazing management
Will take place from February 1 to April 30, 2011 a competition for grazing management at the departmental level. Ie involving the 80 communities working in the various competitions and projects and Apu Ritt'i Pachamama Raymi Raymi (Peru Pacc).
The grazing system is an issue which puts a lot of interest Pachamama Raymi. It aims to improve the use of grasslands in a sustainable manner. A good range management can improve the nutrition of animals and thus the income of the villagers. The grazing management experiences have been very successful.
Many communities are reluctant to range management because it needs a strong organization and acceptance of the entire community. We hope that with this new competition more communities practice the system of grazing.
