 Contract with the European Commission / GTZ
The GTZ awarded a contract to Pachamama Raymi to implement several essential elements of the post-disaster and rehabilitation project in the earthquake hit area near Ica.
The main objective of the project is to promote socio-economic stability in the provinces of Yauyos (Lima), Castrovirreyna and Huaytará (both in the department of Huancavelica), improving people's life, which was seriously affected by the earthquake of september 2007.
The component "Pachamama Raymi" will cover over 3,500 families (more than 20,000 people). The contract establishes that Pachamama Raymi should achieve substantial improvements with at least 60% of the total population within the 10 month duration of the contract.
