 Coffee producers' cooperative Rio Mapacho
Coffee farming families in the communities of Cristo Salvador, Otocani, Sahuay, Solan, Televan, Ichio, Larapata, Pucara, Yuracmayo in Challabamba District (province of Paucartambo) And Humapata, Hualla, Suyo, Qollohuay, Mendisayoc in Lares District (province of Calca) clustered in the cooperative Rio Mapacho.
The objective of this cooperative is to export organic coffee through CECOVASA (Central de cooperativas del valle sandia) that exports in 24 countries.
There are several new communities coming to work with Pachamama Raymi. So the project in Challabamba is divided into 2 . A project around the coffee cooperative that brings together communities and districts Challabamba Lares and a project with Challabamba remaining communities that are more in height.
