 (AYUPER) A successful ceremony honouring the mother earth
On June 3rd 2009 a ceremony honouring the mother earth was organised in Tantará to launch the first contest in six AYUPER project districts. After this ceremony, it rained for 3 days, an auspicious sign. As a result, the majority of the communities present decided to organise even larger and ceremonial events for May and June (the dry season).
