The methodology of the Project Pachamaman Urupa (that’s what Pachamama Raymi is called in Aymará) was one of the winners of the Global Contest (pdf) of ideas for development projects in “Development Marketplace”,
of the World Bank, held in Washington - USA in may 2005. The project
was implemented under the direction of Abraham Borda, who had worked in
PAC-II, where he had picked up the methodology Pachamama Raymi to
reclaim the very dilapidated natural resources (extensive and eroded
natural graze lands).
